MSLA-SIG Spring Conference
Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM (PDT)
When & Where
Massachusetts School Library Association - Student Interest Group (MSLA-SIG)
MSLA-SIG is a group for students who are in the School Library Teacher Program or who are interested in learning more about school libraries. Our goal as a group is to provide an academic support network and resources to students, including involvement in the MSLA annual conference. MSLA-SIG serves as a liaison between future librarians and the MSLA parent organization. We do this by hosting events, such as a career panel to help school library teacher students develop their resumes and hone their interview skills, and by putting on a school library conference each spring. We can also assist students with any questions about their practicum and pre-practicum fieldwork experiences.
