Jessica Faye Carter is an internationally-recognized expert on culture and gender diversity and the author of Double Outsiders (JIST Works, 2007), an award-winning look at professional, diverse women in the workplace. Her work has been cited in national media, including the Associated Press, Working Mother, Essence, and MSBNC.com.
She is a frequent speaker on issues related to culture and professional development, and culture and technology, having participated in events such as the Catalyst Conference, The Conference Board's Diversity and Inclusion Seminars, Web 2.0 Expo - San Francisco, the Society for Human Resource Management Diversity & Inclusion Conference & Exposition, Social Media Brasil. Her clients include Fortune 500 companies, law firms, and leadership development organizations.
Jessica is the founder and president of Heta Co., a diversified services firm offering professional development (HetaCareers) and technology services.
Jessica was previously a corporate lawyer and holds a JD and an MBA from Duke University, and a BA in economics from Spelman College.
