L’imprevu is the unexpected in bellydance. Lusciously innovative, gorgeously creative, and playfully cheeky, L’imprevu presents distinctly theatrical bellydance vignettes unlike any other Texas bellydance troupe.
Drawing from European, Middle Eastern, American, and African influences to create a unique and authentic voice in bellydance, L’imprevu infuses beauty and mirth into every performance.

We have a combined 22 years of dance experience with the last 5 years of it exclusively in Bellydance. Nari's bellydance background includes studies in American Cabaret, Egyptian, Turkish, ITS and Tribal Fusion. Obsidia's bellydance background includes studies in American Cabaret, ITS and Tribal Fusion.
We also have backgrounds in theater allowing us to create unique theatrical performances that harken back to the vaudeville shows of yesteryear.
We combine technique with sauciness and a bit of comedy.
