Tami West
Tami West is an international speaker, author, and trainer. She brings enthusiasm for life to every message, instilling hope and courage in her audience. She will connect with your audience on a level not achieved by most speakers. Those who have heard her speak know that her inspirational message and practical advice leave a lasting impact. Her clients have included SC Johnson, Department of Veteran's Affairs, Prudential Insurance, and Monster.com. Tami began her career with a Bachelor’s degree in biology and then spent the next ten years working in hospitals, physician’s offices, and research labs. Her research interests included molecular genetics, antibiotic sensitivity, and tuberculosis. In 1999 Tami obtained her Master’s degree in education. It was during her time as a graduate student that she was hospitalized for anxiety disorder. She was able to overcome and to teach successfully. in 2005 Tami left teaching to write her first book, Life Without the Monsters, to help women overcome worry, fear, stress, and anxiety. It is her passion to help people understand the reasons behind their stress and anxieties, to help them identify specific triggers and, most importantly, to teach research-based, practical techniques to live fulfilling lives.
