Over 180 Events in 40 Countries Held Simultaneously on November 8, 2007

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - (Marketwire) - December 18, 2007 - Eventbrite (http://www.eventbrite.com), the leading registration solution for event organizers, powered the online event registration for worldwide events celebrating World Usability Day, an initiative of the Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA).

Using Eventbrite’s web-based event registration service, hundreds of event organizers successfully promoted, managed, and sold out World Usability Day events around the world. Over 2,500 World Usability Day participants were registered using Eventbrite.

“We were delighted to meet the needs of these design and usability experts,” said Kevin Hartz, CEO of Eventbrite. “Our online registration solution suits the needs of event organizers with the most basic needs to those requiring complex requirements such as World Usability Day.”

“The Eventbrite system gave us the ability to implement World Usability Day both at the global and local level. We were able to provide our event organizers with a system they could easily access worldwide to organize and promote their events locally and then aggregate this information on the World Usability Day website. We look forward to working with Eventbrite as we continue to grow and expand World Usability Day,” noted Caryn Saitz, Executive Director of World Usability Day.
