Eventbrite Joins the Paperless 2013 Coalition

In today’s increasingly digital age, dealing with paper can definitely be a headache. How many times have you found yourself scrambling to find a printer because you forgot to print something out at the office? Here at Eventbrite, we’re doing our part to get some of that excess paper (and clutter) out of your life through our support of the Paperless 2013 campaign!

What is Paperless 2013?

Eventbrite is proud to be a member of the Paperless 2013 Coalition, a group of organizations helping people live more paper-free lives by reducing the use of paper for everything from faxes to bills. In our case, we’re helping event attendees and organizers take advantage of the convenience and efficiency of paperless tickets and event management with our mobile apps.

Go Paperless with Eventbrite for Mobile

Going to an event should be a fun and easy experience. No one should have to deal with the annoyances of digging through your email, finding a printer, and accomplishing the seemingly impossible task of not losing a paper ticket on the way to an event. That’s why we created Eventbrite for mobile.

By checking into an event with a simple flash of your smartphone, you can enjoy yourself without any of those other hassles. Plus, every time you can avoid printing a ticket to an event, you’re saving trees and going green!

Attending an Event?

With the Eventbrite app for iOS and Android, you can discover great events in your area, as well as purchase and store all your tickets and event information on your phone. If your mobile device runs on iOS 6, you can even add your tickets to Passbook. Once you get to your event, all you have to do is show your ticket on your smartphone, and you’re all set!

Organizing an Event?

Ditch the paper guest list. Whether you’re organizing a networking event or your high school reunion, you can easily scan ticket barcodes or search guests by name with our free Entry Manager app for iOS and Android phones and tablets. All of your volunteers can use their own devices to help you check in guests, and you can access real-time attendance numbers to monitor event capacity.

Selling Tickets or Merchandise at an Event?

With At The Door, our free mobile box office app for iPads, you can capture on-site sales of tickets, merchandise, food, beverages, and more. When customers pay by credit card or cash, you don’t have to print out receipts — just send an email! Plus, you can collect attendee names and emails so you can reach out to them about other upcoming events.
