The days of searching the entire Internet for something to do are behind us. Londoners now have a centralized spot for finding great gatherings across a range of categories. What is this magical place, you ask? Eventbrite, of course. Below are a slew of fantastic events taking place in and around London in March, all available now on Eventbrite. There’s something for socializers of all sorts.
March 5th/8th — Parlour Games with the Fun Fed
The Fun Fed have earned a name for eccentric and vintage games nights, and their twin “parlour games” gatherings offer a unique way to connect. Heck, we’re not exactly sure what these games involve, and we don’t need to be. We just like the English spelling of parlour.
March 12th — Grape Vine Social Cocktails and Dating Party
Let’s see: If you’re single and going out, odds are you’re looking to have a few cocktails, and meet a few other singles. Who have also had a few cocktails. So why not be organized about it? This gathering on the King’s Road in Chelsea brings together likeminded individuals, and even adds a twist: You learn to make the drinks yourselves.
March 13th — Raw Food Dinner Party
Northern California comes to Canary Wharf in this combined dinner and talk from Victoria Boutenko. Nibble (and ponder the logic of) vegan cheesecake, and hear Boutenko discuss topics such as green smoothies and the merits of juicing vs. blending.
March 20th — Mad Hats & Moustaches Benefit
It’s a tea party, but it’s also a party. What does this mean? Tea-tinis. Wear your maddest hat—and ideally your most out-of-date moustache—to this lively gathering to support the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation. With live DJs.
March 24th — Victoria and Albert Art Viewing at the Queen’s Gallery
Art lovers, oenophiles, and royal aficionados alike will appreciate this unique opportunity to gather at the Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace, viewing hundreds of items from the Royal Collection, then capping their time with tipples in the Gallery Shop.
March 25th–28th — Wandsworth Common Beer Festival
On the other side of the Thames—and of the social spectrum—from polite sips at the Palace is this grand beer, ale and cider festival in Wandsworth Common. Not that it’s for the rowdies. This is a connoisseur’s gathering, featuring over 60 pours from all around the Isle.
