There is a great series of Cheetah-related fundraisers happening at the Oregon Zoo in October to help raise awareness of the plight of the world’s fastest land animal.
On October 10, the 7th Annual Big Cat Big Party takes over the Oregon Zoo with a sit-down dinner, a talk by the world’s leading cheetah expert, Dr. Laurie Marker, founder and Director of the Cheetah Conservation Fund.
Bonus? Marker is bringing her spotted pal, Kgosi, to the event.
